My Studio Workspace

Core to the renovation process in converting a spare room into the space in which I design was to ensure I would have a space suitable for long hours of work. The desk (which is somewhat of the room's centrepiece) measures 3000mm X 1100mm and allows me to enjoy the space required for projects as I complete them: particularly model making and digital drafting. Custom built for purpose using recycled hardwood and steel SHS it serves to house all things between the top surface of items in current use to the shelf underneath that houses computers, servers, cables and storage.

The chosen paint for the studio bounces off the natural wood of the desk. Shelving above houses books that I've collected over the years that inspire my design work. Everything electrical from the lights to the monitors are controlled via Google Home for easy usability.
